hose attachment
I have a 1/2 inch hose that runs from my pump up to the tank that does not want to stay put. What suggestions do you have for attaching the tube to the tank, the suction cup holders are not working. I want a loc line to direct the flow but that doesn't fix the problem.

if you have a normal tank (like All-Glass or the like) you could drill a small hole in the plastic trim on the top and use some plastic wire ties (the zip kind). That's what I have holding my 3/4 PVC return lines...works like a charm. If that doesn't work, post this thread in the DIY forum and I'm sure someone will give you another tip.

I use the plastic hooks that stick to walls for hanging - purchased from Home depot or grocery store for only a few bucks. Anyway, just stick it to the glass and then tie a piece of string around the hose and it will stay put - I have a hose and all my wires being held in place by one sticky hook thingy - good luck
