if it's starting to open a little it should be fine.Is there a waxy film on it?some times they close for a long time to shed this waxy film and after they'er done they look better than ever!

My lathers come and go. Sometimes they will be open for awaile, then they will shut for awhile...then they open, then they shut.. Nothing wrong wiht them, thats just how they are.

If its giving off the waxy film that eventually gets all over everything...its fine.

When I first got my sacrophyton it took 1 week or so before it extended its polyps out. Still it will close all up for a while & shed a layer of mucous & come out looking better than ever.
