Wrasse in Southern Oregon

OK I think it's a red fin fairy wrasse. very pretty mild temperment but i think my tank 55 gal is to small for him. Wifey paid 40 bucks for him and i would trade for some emerald crabs and some other inverts that will eat GHA. Anyone wanna give him a better home?
ill try and get some pics and maybe a vid to put up in a bit.

Greg, FYI, for Green hair algae control, besides the obvious of keeping the proper tank parameters etc. you may want to invest in some GHA eaters I have had great success with, Extra Large, Mexican Turbo Snails, Sea Hare (really but ugly and yet cute at the same time and a voracious eater) or a lettuce nuidbranch.

My best pic would be the sea hare, around here you can pick them up for ~$10, cute, whimsical and peaceful. Heard they can ink but I have never had that experience with the two I had until I ran out of hair algae for them to eat. They mow through it like there is no tomorrow...

Just a suggestion...

I can't find the sea hair around here. I have to large mexi turbo's that are doing a decent job but need more. as for the nudi's had three. one played in the power head, the other vanished or found the overflow etc and i have'nt seen the 3rd in a week now lol. would love to try a sea hare as long as they wont bother anything other than the gha

Nope, they won't from my experience. The only problems I have heard with them (besides the inking potential I have never experienced) is that they have such a voracious appetite that they run out of food and croak. Please keep this in mind. The LFS around here, take returns on the Sea Hares as many people get them, use them and run out of food for them. Really neat to watch them munch from the end on down to the base of the hair algae. Like I said, butt ugly yet strangely cute like a little puppy dog. You can try some of the on-line stores as I have seen them there pretty cheap from time to time but they are kinda hit or miss to find. One more thing, I have a MExican Turbo still, got rid of most of mine due to the fact they plow through all my LPS and knock everything over all the time. Little wrecking crews but they do a decent clean up job.
