I agree with medicine. these are some of my favorite lps corals. Just beautiful.

Is there someplace online that many people use to get these really NICE ones that they are showing pictures of?

Jst curious since I didnt get any response from anyone on this thread about wanting to sell any frags of these corals.

Johns you will get this thread shut down if you ask for trades/sale of Blastos. I have bought all of my Blastos online or from LFS.

Just got two new Blastos today. The green with purple frills blasto arrived with a ruptured bag. The polyps stayed moist even though there was no water left in the bag. After a few hours in the main tank she began to look OK. I had to rush the photos tonight before the MHs started turning off.

Purple with green frills.

Green with purple frills.

Opposites attract.

I didn't mean to be rude Johns, but we had a 100 + page zoo pix thread shut down due to people asking for trades/sales. I really don't want this one to end up the same way

No problem, Doctor.
I knew there there are a number of rules and such, just didn't know I was treading upon them. I guess I was just trying to understand the reasoning behind them. But this doesn't seem like a good thread to discuss the rules in so, that's ok.

I really do want to respect the intent of the thread, so sorry for any intrusion. Back to some more pics...

Dr. King- wow, those are awesome! Did both of those come in on a bad shippment? Like were both in the bag with water comming out or no water? I hope that it's not stepping over the line to ask if you got those at the zoo to.Were just trying to learn where to get them so that we can get them into the flow of more hobbiests.
Thanks
Kelly

I got those from an online vendor. The Blasto on the right came in with no water in the bag, but it appears to be doing OK. I check out most online vendors every few days to see if they have anything cool instock, including Blastos. Hope that helps.

The centers are flourescent green. I have some blue centers that are smaller and in another tank. And yes they are merlettis. I posted a picture of them on the 1st page of this thread as the 4 polyp frag that they started out as.
