Opinion on Amiracle overflow boxes

I'm looking at buying an overflow box and setting up a sump (will be my first one). The Lifereef overflow box gets the most attention I see, but what about the Ameriacle model that is about half the price? It appears to be the same type of overflow box, although I can't tell if it uses a baffle in the outside box like the Lifereef does. What are everyone's opinions of the Amiracle box? Any reason NOT to buy it?

I've owned both and they are both reliable overflows. They both use baffles. The major difference is flow capacity. The LR can handle a lot more flow than the the Amiracle (like 2x as much).

I didn't realize that the flow capacity was that much different. The Lifereef was 700gph I think, and the Amiracle something like 600, but I could be off. I'll go to each manufacturer's page and check the specs.

The Amiracle cant actually do 600 GPH. It can barely keep up with a Mag5. The LR is probably the only overflow that actually lives up to the advertised flow specs.

After reading around the Web a little, I've seen several websites advertise the Amiracle as a 400gph overflow, which is quite a bit less than the advertised 700gph rate of the Lifereef. Looks like it'll be a LR for me.
