Kids! They Grow Up So Quickly.

My middle daughter called me today and left a message on my voicemail. She is a fifth-year senior in college, and she starts student teaching soon. She told me she took out her nose ring permanently for teaching.

Ah, time flies. One day, your kid is eating sand and the next she's giving up her nose ring. Another milestone!

Yeah, yesterday my oldest was taking his first step, today he's a junior in college. Parents should be allowed to stop the clock every now and then.

Tell me about it! I would just like to skip the teenage years with my daughter. The boys were never a problem, but teenage girls-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH! I never saw anyone who 'needs' so much stuff! And try to figure out the 15,000 moods on any given day. Boys are easy-there's happy and mad, that's it.
