Like Christmas....but harder!

I don't know where this post would fit well, so I thought this was the best catch all. I just finished aclimating my new polyps and favia from Anthony at aquadesignz........I can't wait to see them open! I am dying to see them.....open....open....open!

How long does this usually take?
Thanks,
Ari
P.S. I know the photo is awful.....only have a camera phone

Haha, this hobby should NOT be associated with keeping a budget, becalse the only thing setting a budget does is make you feel sad when you "blew the budget." To add to that, make sure you post some macros of the corals once they open up. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. Hope they open up as you are reading this reply, be prepared for the fact that it could take (theoretically) as long as a week or so for them to fully open. It's likely somewhere in between though.

But just think, after they double in size, you can trade them for others that you want, and so on, and so on..............

Yes, thats what I am thinking! They are starting to peek out a bit...and I of course I love them so much I couldn't think of fragging them now, but in a few months that will change I am sure ;-)

Haha, yes, I bought my "break the bank" colony, $53 and I had to drive 2 hours to get it, but I was immediatly thinking of how easy it would be to frag (its on an old SPS skeleton). I decided, I'm gonna give it time to grow in my sytem. Turns out, someone had been looking at it for 3 weeks, and was gonna get it the day I bought it, so we decided that we're gonna to a frag swap.

Make sure to post pictures of the beauties when they open up.

Now your thinking! One thing I love about this hobby is if your smart, you can trade for everything
