That one was called patchwork yuma.....I think the early dawn is still on the site.....It's on the second page and looks like it will be a great yuma. Says it's 3.5''x3'' I have found his measurements to be right on.....

I just scored the Giant Early Dawn and the Autumn Blaze....this was an expensive thread to be surfing today . Lets hope I have a little better luck with these two...This week I lost one of my Yumas I picked up at Atlantis a few weeks back, the other one still looks awesome and sems to be a super happy camper. It still shows those two I bought and paid for as still available. I hope their system tracks things in real time and someone else didn't already pick those up, That would be disappointing. Oh well I guess I'll find out Tuesday if they send me shipping info. Are they pretty good about updating their site??

The Ponk one I have that I bought from Dustin is easy 4'' around.......They blue one is about 2.5'' around, I don't think it liked the spot I had it so I moved it a bit from the current. Almost same spot as my pink one and the oink loves it and that one don't......Yea I though about that Early dawn as well...I had plans to make an order of about $350 about a week an a half ago. It was gonna be all yuma, but we lost power and I had to buy a generator cause there was no way my tank would have lived 4 days with no power. So then I sold some other stuff and was gonna make an order of $225 and later that day my Icecap shorted out and causght fire. So I had to get a supplimental light sustem......Needless to say I keep getting boned out of an order....But I did get a true pink Florida Ricordea that is coming this week. When I say pink I mean a real pink not an off orage color like most people call pink.....I will post pics of it once I get it.....You will need to post pics of those yumas as well....

I took the plunge and ordered that Summers Evening yuma. I was heartbroken when I went to pull it out of the bag and it was half melted. The water in the bag was extremely hot. It was packed very well, I don't blame Dustin, I think DHL had it sitting somewhere in very high temps. Dustin is a great guy though and said he will replace it. I think I may stick with the other colors rather than pinks or reds since I have not had much luck in the past with these. They seem to be very delicate and don't last long for some reason. I have about 20 yuma's in my tank that are doing great but I just don't know the secret about how to make the pinks or reds flourish. Do you guys have any long term success with these, if so could you share your knowledge.

seacritter, What a bummer, that is just plain crummy. I don't know about the pinks and reds either. I have had all the true pink Yumas (3 only) crash on me. I do have nice big red one with bluish green tips Yuma doing very well for me. It was sold as pink but I picked it up locally and knew it was more red. I think the really hot pink and true pink (not orangish/reddish pink) ones are quite fragile. If you can get one to live that seems to be the ultimate in Yuma keeping, lol. I am hoping the Giant Early Dawn is definately Pink pink and not more orange. We shall see. Since it is more blue/teal maybe it wont be quite as fragile. I am crossing my fingers. I am glad to hear Dustin is a stand up guy about his service and product. If these guys come in healthy and do well I will most certainly order again from him.
