Question how do i get a personal avatar pic like all the cool people

do i have to be a paying member to have a personal picture for my avatar?

I don't think so. Registered user can change personal avatar. You need like 100+ posts or something like that.

Thats hilarious! I'm still laughing but what does the "bump" mean? I could feel really stupid here but I've not figured that one out yet.

bump moves the thread up. If someone wants a thread to be at the top of the list, they will "bump" it.
