He had a couple of nationally-released singles ("My Bologna" and "Another One Rides The Bus").

In 1985, Yankovic co-wrote and starred in a mockumentary of his own life entitled The Compleat Al. Then 4 yrs later did UHF

3. What is his college degree in?
degree in Architecture.

Well he (weird al) was practicing the song another one bites the dust outside the sound booth, weird al ran into Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz, who told him he was a drummer and agreed to bang on Yankovic's accordion case to keep a good steady beat to the song. They rehearsed the song just a few times before going live on The Doctor Demento Show. "Another One Rides the Bus"

Their first show in 1981 they were opeing up for another band jon bermuda schwartz played drums (nothing else i can recall) but they were booed off the stage........they later gained popularity.

Also his full name is......Alfred Matthew Yankovic. also both his parents died in 2004 carbin monixide poisoning.

Not bad, how much did you have to look up?

The first "hit" song I was talking about was Another One Rides the Bus which got a LOT of play requests on the Dr. Demento Show. That's what really got him his big break.

As I recall, they were playing at local bars before opening for another band and it was pretty popular.

. yeah i know it was another on rides the bus ( paradoy of another one bites the dust - queens song) , dr. demento show gave him a good start.

for what ever reason the crowd that was there for that band that they got booed off of just really didn't like them. but glad they didn't give it up.........
