Question ummm...Removable disk?

This may seem strange but anyone ever had a removable disk drive just show up? I was just going to look at some pictures...so I double click on My Computer, it opens up and I pause a second and notice that there is now a new "removable disk drive." Today is the first day I noticed it but it probably has only been there a couple days at the most. Now I've never had a removable disk, haven't installed anything new in a good couple months. So how do I suddenly have a removable disk? Not really concerned about it, but it is sort of spooky...

How were you looking at pictures? Were they on a camera connected to the computer by a USB port? If so, the "Removeable disk" was simply the camera's storage space.

nope, pictures are on the computer...camera isn't connected. Plus when I connect the camera its completely different. Just connected it (the camera) and it says Canon camera (in the My Computer window). Doesn't seem to have anything to do with this "removable disk." Like I said, doesn't really bother me, but it is kinda weird.

Ok nevermind . Found out what it was...its the built in card reader on the new printer. I could have bet it wasn't there a couple days ago... I really should slow down and notice things once and a while.
