Sunday - move fish to larger tank

George and I finished wireing for the new pump and have started plumbing for the new tank. I was worried for a while when I couldn't find a 1 1/2 in gate valve. Everything should be ready to move my clowns, anemones, and rock to the tank upstairs. (living room dining area divider) We can pump most of the water up. Just need to move the rock etc. I still have the hood to build but have everything to go in it, so it should be ready then also.

We've had some offers of help so let me know if you are still coming or want to come. I am hoping it's a nice day. I'll have the grill on for burgers, hot dogs. George has the beer. I'll get soda also.

Thanks jcnacedude, afternoon is great. As George says we won't start till at least 1. I'll probably be up late the night before making/finishing the hood. lol

I probably won't be able to make it there till around 3 or so. I'll be at my parent's place Saturday to Sunday. I usually leave there after lunch, but they live in the other directon from you, so I'm giving 2 hours or so for travel time, but if you still need help then, I'll help out.

Mae/George,
PM or email me directions to your tank. Do you need the use of any carry equipment like 5 gal buckets? How many? I am still waiting on a shippment but it has never arrived later than Saturday - so one o'clock Sunday is looking good for me right now.

Hey Mae and George,

Sorry I couldn't make it today. I just got home (7pm) from the weekend trip (that wasn't supposed to last nearly as long). I hope all went well and that you got a least a little bit of help.

Poor George, The tank(55) wasn't sitting where we thought it was in relationship with the stuff in the basement. Had to move everything out of the 65 and 29 so we could move them to be able to get to the wall to run the pipes. I finished all I could do with the drain at midnight. I need to get 1 more 10ft section of 1&1/2" pipe to finish the pump line. I think I'll get 2 sections just to be on the safe side. The one time I don't get extra we need it. lol it figures. Thank goodness for powerheads for circulation and heaters everything should be fine (crossing fingers).
Mae
