How should I aquascape this tank???

Hi all.
Check this baby out… my new 99 gal cube.

here’s my tank build thread
http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...5&pagenumber=1

Anyway, I’m wondering how I should aquacape this baby. here’s my predicament. I have a 90 gal rectangle tank at my parents house full of mature rock and corals, and they’re all moving in to this new set up, so I’m limited on what I can do for aquascaping. I would like some cool extreme looking cliffs and things, but I don’t want to risk damage to my corals. Does anyone have any suggestions for some cool aquascaping techniques that would be safe for the corals?

id go with a pillar look, but closer to the overflow side.. with maybe an arch or 2 coming out.

The idea was to build it so you can walk all around it, but it's in a corner.

when you guys do your pillars, would you put a peice of pvc or something up the middle and zip tie your rock to it?

the bottom of my tank will be protected by a peice of acrylic.I was thinking I could easily attache a few pillars to it for a nice stable base.

haha the sunken ship is kindof a neat idea. you don't see too many of those in reef tanks. I'm a diver, and here in Nova Scotia there are over 10,000 shipwrecks, so i've seen my fair share of real wrecks. it wouldn be cool (and incredably corny) to re-creat one.

id say go for 3 pillars. 2 twards the overflow, 1 offcenter in the front, and some brachwork/shelf peices linking them.

I used the acrylic rod method to make my pillar arch. Just drill peices of live rock insert acrylic rods and build like tinker toys.

yes i've seen some pretty awsome tanks aquascaped like that. I would go with rigid airline tube because I have oodles of it. I may go with a combination of the rod method and the spire method. I'm just going to play with my rock and see what looks best.
