all but the last page on TBS reef were taken with a $200 pentax and 99% with no tri-pod (i hate that thing). if your camera has a macro mode you need to use it. also with the new camera white balance made a huge improvement to the color of my photos. this helps because i dont have to modify it to get the color right. with my old camera i had to fudge a little to get the color right and it lessened the detail of my pics. one last thing im going to try tonight is lowering the exposure. im told that this will help with the clarity of pics also. im not sure what thats going to do to me taking pics by hand though (again without my crappy tri-pod).

My greens are about 6" below the water's surface with 6500k 250w iwasaki above it. It gets pretty strong light, and seems to love it!

Here are mine. Man, do they ever grow slow! I got the red/greens last October. It has five mouths on the large head, but still hasn't split! The blue I have only had for about a month and a half.

Purple and blue. From LFS for a good price. 15 heads before I fragged it. 5 of the heads looked dead, but 3 have come back to life

Green. My first candycane.

Some of the lavender ones I just got in a trade. I love these!
