55g stock list

1 longnose hawkfish, 1 coral beuty, 2 oscellaris------> is this too much of a bioload for a 55 gallon with 65 lbs. of LR? it will eventually have a corallife super skimmer also.

no thats fine you could probably add 1 or two more fish too. I love longnose hawkfish by the way. I have one i my 55 and by far is the best fish...tons of personality.

That list is fine, but be sure to use cover the top with some egg crate or something similar, since hawkfish are known to jump out of tanks.

I have a 55 with similar amount of rock, proquatics wet/dry(no bioballs)

I have- flame fin tang 2.5"
yellow hogfish 2"
Akindynos clown 3"
blue green chromis 1.75"
sixline wrasse 1.5"
pajama cardinal 1.5"
CB shrimp 3"
fire shrimp 2.5"
Clams corals soft-2- sps and clean up crew.

I still have nitrates less than 20. Thats with a cheap intergrated protein skimmer on the proquatics filter. But hey what works for one doent always hold true for another.

I have added more coral and changed the PHs to Koralias, which I love. The dish in the front was holding cheato alfea I had just introduced my tomini tang and wanted to make sure he had fresh food. JIC
