Little Giant or Pan World pumps?

I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with either the Pan World 100px-x or the Little giant 4mdqx-sc ? Like noise levels or reliability?

I have had both. To me, there is no comparison between the two pumps. I love the Pan World. They do not require oiling, they seem to be quieter. Much better built. The Volute on the Little Giant tends to strip out, (poor design) and the pan world, no way. Just a much better built pump.

Apples and oranges.

Hey mark, considering the pan world is by the same guy that designed Iwaki. I would go with the Pan World.

Just so you hear the other side I have a little giant and have abused the heck out of it and it keeps on cranking. Had it running for about 4 years now. I think next time I will get a no maintenance pump though, mine needs oiling, but I never do it.

I think i will go with the Panworld this time. Tomorrow i think i will order my skimmer for the 220, and go grab a pump from Dan.
