Sudden cloudy water
This morning suddenly my tank was cloudy as u can see from the side picture.
MY water is normal. What can be the reason for it and what should i do? I have 1 polyp and a 2 day old fox coral in my 10g aquarium at all.

It's probably a bacterial bloom, but it could be calcium precipitation.

So should i be worried or stay calm and watch?

It is not a major problem either way but obviously not something you want. Do a 20% WC and see if that makes a difference. Leave it a day. If no change do another. Stay calm

New tank? Normal bloom hopefully. You say water is normal. Exactly what are the numbers for calcium, alkalinity, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, and specific gravity or salinity.

It could be a bloom of some sort, but it could also be calcium precipitation. Watch it for a day or two... If it doesn't subside do a water change and don't add any calcium additives. If it persists, more water changes, a little at a time but frequently. About ten percent every 12 hours maybe fine... If it is calcium precipitation, the water changes should clear it up. If it is a bloom it'll take care of itself.

Sorry to kind of hijack, but my tank is doing the same thing. How long can blooms last ? I recently added some different macros and now my tank is doing this, but it seems that at around 5 or 6pm it clears right up, then back to cloudy the next day.
I'm going to do a small water change and see...

This maybe due to fluctuations in PH... You'll wanna check the Ph in the day and then once it clears...
