Let's see those uncommon shroom color morphs

You may have seen my old rhodactis pics on other threads. I decided to take another pic and I liked it (it's in a moderate flow at the bottom of the tank). So I am sharing...

I'm still waiting for someone to show me a similar color morph. I know they're out there.

Thanks, I don't think my rhodactis is the only one in existence (wouldn't that be nice!) I see some purple ones but not with greens, oranges, etc. Post some pics of your neon reds.

Those are really nice. I have something with similar coloring but not "furry" like yours.
It might be common but I have not seen any like it before!

Is that pink edge? I haven't seen one like yours. How long have you had yours? Mine is 1 year old this December. Started as a hitch hiker the size of an eraser head. I think I have at least five now. Nice to own something no one else has.

A couple of weeks , It came with the green striped ones and it has already budded two baby shrooms.
I am just happy to find any nice specimens.
Maybe you can frag them and make millions.
Nice dream,huh?

shackscs, watch out those purple discos, they spread like wildfire. Your second shroom is the same as mine. DOes yours change color? The main disc on mine changes from blue, purple, tan but the green and orange frills are constant.

Not looking colorful this morning. Color is more intense when they're not fully expanded. This morning they are just fully opened...

Here is an old night time shot with flash.

And an even older pic, the humble beginning...

Thanks Whisperer, I will keep an eye out for them. When I bought them there were on a rock about 10 inches around and covered it completely.

I broke the rock up and spread them around a bit and I see that there are multiplying.

The other shroom dies not change colrs. I have others to shoot but I am still getting the hang of the new camera I got. I will post them some time today.

I am not sure if anyone has or sells the same rhodactis as mine. I have not seen it on any vendors here at RC. I have seen nice solid purple and greens but not multi-colored. I think mine is also a morph of the hairy mushroom, not sure. Uhmmm...you have a rhodactis collection? Pics?

Here are a few more. I have a couple others but I need to seek them out in the rock work and work on my manual settings.

Just browsed RM today and they have quite a nice rhodactis specimen and most are already sold. They aren't that cheaply priced for mushrooms either. Nice colors they have at RM. Maybe a few more available colors and patterns will catapult the lowly rhodactis to fame.

shackscs, I like the last shroom. The one with raised blue spots.
SDguy, are those spots pink or orange?

Red/pink, on green/bluish background. Sold to me as "reverse" supermans, but they are more rainbow looking in person than anything.

These are my supermans....

SDguy, did not know u've got some nice shroom collection too. Do they spread fast like the purple ones? (I got a couple of purple ones from gcantu a few months back and they just took off. I must have at least 10 now. Good thing, I used a large oyster shell to attach them, so they are isolated from the rest of the rocks).BTW, how is your turquoise polyp stag doing? Mine is starting to shoot a lot of branches at the tip. Still very small polyp extension in the daytime but long at night. Must be a nocturnal.

Red rain...what an apocalyptic name
Can't wait to see that. My pink FL ric is not relly pink but orangey/pink so, it's not my favorite. Took some pics of my rhodactis this AM. They look purplish today than the last time.
