My new babies...(ORA Picasso Pair)

Just picked up these two yesterday, right now they're living in my friends tank and will be moved into their own tank with an RBTA.

Pics!

They'll def. get a little blacker than they are, but how much will be a def. variable.

Which campus? Downtown? What is the aquarium size limit for tanks? I know Manhattanville, doesn't have any restrictions up to 40g...

Yeah I hope they get a little more black in them, I live right off of the main campus in York. They'll be kept in a 12g aquapod w/ 70w MH with their RBTA, I was going to put them in my 120g at home, but I already have a pair of osc. in there!

Yeah, I bought a 12g NC for a future 'college' tank, so I bought one early on, and I have added a 150W MH fixture to it. I have yet to get it stable enough to put an anemone in there.

I have a 14 gallon biocube in my dorm/apartment with a pair of maroon clowns and two clowns. That tank is jsut under a year old and it is doing well. I'm sure your tank and fish will do extremely well, definitely need a good metal halide though, I didn't have one for a few months and my anemones suffered, especially the RBTA. But they are doing much better since I added my 150W MH.

They should start to turn black as they mature...but this depends on a lot of variants...like diet, environment..ect...I'll try to keep udated with pics so that people can observe the development. By the way Mr. James...I love arctic cat sleds!! If I could afford a new one, I'd buy a firecat in a heartbeat! lol

back on topic...I've seen some other ORA picasso's out there but they don't even look picasso...anyone know what the deal is on that?

...Thanks everyone for the nice comments

yeah ive noticed alot of picasso's as well that dont have those awsome markings, but people still consider them picasso's, but to me they have to have some type of crazy pattern and sideburns as well!!

Wow, I was wondering who got those guys. Funny it turns out to be someone on RC. You only let me enjoy them for 2 days. Ohh FWIW, The clowns have all their eyes.

Really healthy looking fish...and beautiful patterns. I love my Ocellaris, but a part of me wants to have something more unique...maybe when i can afford/have a place for more tanks...hehe
