reef Lighting

I have a 46 bowfront I think it 18" deep. My question can I put 2x250MH on it or is that way to much light this tank. I'd like to grow hard, soft, and clams....some fish too!

That's a brutal amount of light for this tank. I wouldn't go more than 2x150.

Thanks Dan.....That kinda what I was thinking...I sometimes have the tool man complex.....I figured if 2x150W were good 2x250W would be better...ughhhhhhh
