Great fish. They perch on rocks, corals and are always checking out the scene. If you have smaller shrimp or other vulnerable inverts they may try to eat them (ie: snails, crabs, other tasty items). They eat most offered foods and are fairly hardy.

awesome fish just keep the bite sized inverts out of the tank.

Do they eat shrimp such as peppermint, harlequin, and cleaners?

If the Hawk is big enough or the shrimp is small enough they will go for them...peps and cleaners for sure as I have had it happen....not sure on the harlequins.
