Chiller??

Has anyone ever made a DIY Chiller? My husband is into refrigeration (vending machine and ice machine repairs) and I was wondering if there was anyway he could build me one. Seems he is running out of Honey doos, but I am sure he would disagree. TIA.

yes there have been some diy chillers but with your husband into frig repair, tell him what you want and let him go at it. He will probably come up with a great chiller that you can post pictures of and take credit for.

Another example of a Homemade chiller .

Note the link at the bottom of the page is bad. You will need to change the url to get to the next page -- .../chiller1.html to .../chiller2.html.

Can you put copper and TI together OUTSIDE of saltwater?
Using 3 3' TI rods cut into 1' sections with each connected outside a cooling chamber with 180 deg copper bends.
Think something similar to a box with TI rods running through it, and connecting them via copper 180's
