did anyone order this book? the last update i received was in august stating that the "delay was caused by a last minute upgrade of the publishing. We added more images and more text and most of all... upgraded the publication to hardcover(!) at no extra charge to pre-order folks." also, the new format is scheduled to be released at the end of october.

has anyone received further updates? i can't wait to get the new book!

Is this a volume 2? Or just a re-release?

I agree, the older one was nice bathroom reading material. Looks like my old electronics handbook in the way it was bound

i think it is an updated version of volume one with more information and pictures. maybe it's called a second edition.

i tried going to the publisher's website www.readingtrees.com but it has been down the last couple of days.

no one else pre-ordered this book??
