Orp

On average, what would you expect the ORP of freshly mixed water to be (after 24 hrs of mixing and aeration)??

I'm trying to confirm the accuracy of my ORP monitor on my ozonizer. It's read the tank water to be 170-180 for the last month and I know my water is far better than that. I put the probe in freshly mixed water and it read the same - 180.

i'll check mine when i do a water change in the morning.

your tank should be higher than that, especially with the use of o3. i keep mine around 340mV. when the probe is new, it takes a few days for it to stabilize and give an accurate reading. that said, it may not be accurate when i dunk it in the fresh salt mix. i guess we'll see.
