Dang, those are gorgeous. I think the second one is 20K but is the first one 30K? Or...what? Shore is purdy!

Very nice everybody. I am aquiring one in a few days. Where should I place it in the tank. I am running 250W 14k Phoenix. Are these consider as slow growers?

You're crazy Sang! I think you bayarea reefers have the best collection. As matter of fact, I got the Echinata from Ming Wei last year.

I found this picture of the same echinata frag (3 polyp) back in 2006 next to my Oregon tort. What a difference a year makes.

I have a TCN 30,000 leagues from LA and I bought another piece off Divers Den LA it should come tomarrow. It's one of my favorite corals. They posted another one in Divers den aquacultured section today.

really, from atlantis? Everyone raves about the aquascene echinata but I was at atlantis the other day and ming wei's echinata rivals james' if not even deeper blue than his. Im suprised your echinata is so light. Mine is a royal blue

I got it from Ming (Atlantis) as James @ Aquascene's true echinata. I believe Ming has both versions. He rarely sells the "fire and ice"
