My 2 b/f did not make the transition, died in the bucket during acclimation, they were on the small side.

It was a good day, the clouds broke and it was nice and sunny.
Lots of spotfin butterflies, a four eyed butterfly, a gray snapper, 2 blue spot cornets, bandtail puffer, jumbo lizard fish, some small crevalle jack, loads of local fishes with some puffed up puffers that brought out some laughs and smiles, some trunkfish, and 6 flying gunards which are uncommon and a highly prized fish for display at AMW. Tom and Todd snorkeling got some groupers, seahorse, spotfins and banded butterfly. Later in the day, Todd got wet again and got two small blue angels. I'm sure I'm missing a few but a very productive and fun day.

Here is one of the spotfins and a small boxfish. The pic of the boxfish is fuzzy but it gives a good sense of scale next to the thermometer in the fuge.

Thank you for the trip it was a good time.

It sure was a fun and productive trip. Any trip with flying gurnards is a success. I took my oceanography class to the same spot the next day and did just as well...and we also got 2 bigeyes and 2 lookdowns.

Tom what kind of tang was it? Did you find anything else on your beach dive?

I have photos of the blue angels. How do I post them?

Todd,

Upload the photo's to your RC photo gallery. After you've uploaded the photo, there will be a line that reads "Use this in img tag". Copy that url and put the [img] [/img] tags around it such as the following example that I pulled from your gallery

http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/...53Yerectus.jpg

place the [img ]http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/7153Yerectus.jpg[/img ] without the extra space and you'll get...

Unfortunately, I had to miss this one. After the last time that Joe tried to drown me, I thought it would be best for my health if I stayed home :-)

sanjay.
