So anyone know what this is???

Found it moving around this morning on the glass whilr the lights were still out (atinics were on) waited till lights came on to take pics, and it headed for cover


Hope the pics are clear enough.

i have those in my sump and my wife says there limpits. im sure someone can tell you excactly. good luck

Does it have any kind of shell on it's back? If so, I agree with the limpit ID. If not, it may be a type of flatworm.

no shell, it is alomost completely flat. good or bad?

That's bad. It looks like an acro eating flatworm to me. Check out the Melev's reef ID page. It looks just like the third and fourth pics.

so does this mean there are probably more? I keep only softies and a few lps will they hurt them?

It does not look like an Acro Eating Flat worm to me. (Look at Melevs page, AEFW are redish that looks much bigger then on Melevs site where he talks about treatement, but it's hard to judge scales

That being said many flat worms are bad, but not all... Not sure on that one, cause id is going to be next to impossible.
