Growing anemone started hiding? see pic

My green Bubble tip that I have had for five months has been growing in leaps and bounds, all of a sudden it has started to hid behind a rock. Its color is still great and size is big but it is just leaning behind a rock. It did this the other day and then went back to normal. It is now doing it again. Why would this be occuring?? Problems? splitting?
My tank is well over a year old.
The only thing diferent is I have turned my cooling fans down as we have had cold weather and the house has been cooler.
My ph has been low, in the 7.7 range and I am working on that.
