Completely off topic ... my newest arrivals...

My 58g fish tank is sitting empty in the dining room, half set up. There are buckets of live rock waiting for placement, and there is a 100g acrylic holding tank in the living room on the floor (I'm an idiot, I should have put it on a stand and left it running as the main tank, but it's scratched up). The 100g holds all my fish, coral and whatever LR had coral stuck to it...it's been like this for 2 weeks as I moved the 58 out of my once messy office...

It's because of these, my latest hobby...

Forgive the annoying pop up box, but free websites are never really free!

If only there were more time in the day...

Congrats, they look precious

Thanks guys!

I think the aquarium (when it's finally set up again) will be a great form of entertainment for them and I'm sure they'll all be future reefers!
(aquarium love seems to be hereditary, in my case, my Dad's use of fish to "absorb evil" from coming in the house led to my wanting to learn how to actually care for them!)

Hey Arnold, Sandy says "Hi!"
(Apparently they went to high school together)

Congrats

I heard that fish tanks are quite beneficial for babies. The colors and movement help their eyes develop and the sounds of the water soothes them. So, there's a legit reason to set up the nice big tank ^^

Yeah, I'd have loved to keep the tank in their room, but the 350 W of metal halide lights and the skimmer sounds probably aren't so soothing. Well, maybe the white noise of the skimmer wouldn't have been too bad.
