Opinion on stocking fish...

Looking to stock fish in my newly re-established 125 FOWLR tank. I would like to get you opinions before I go buying. Currently I have Blonde Naso and Powder Brown Tang.

I am thinking of adding fish once every week or two. How many can I add at one point?

I am considering the following fish that also had previously.

Semi-larvatus Butterfly
Larvatus Butterfly
Imperator Angelfish OR Majestic Angelfish
Flame Angel
true perc vs. false perc QTY: ???
Blue Hippo Tang - small / medium QTY: 3

THANKS.

IMO - you're way over stocked with the 2 tangs you already have. The Naso will get large and will out grow a 125 gallon very fast.

I have a 210 gallon with a Naso tang, purple tang, 3 tomatoes (been together for almost 10 years), a cardinal fish, and a mandarin. The Naso is being moved into a 450 gallon because it's out growing the 210.

Also, I have two 125 gallon tanks. One has 2 percs, one yellow tang and 2 yellow tail damsels - and I'm not planning to put anything else in there. The yellow tang will also be moving to the 450 shortly.

I don't mean to be critical - too many times we over stock our tanks and the fish suffer.

If you go with an Angel you may want to put him in last - they tend to get territorial. I have a flame and added him last to my tank.

So, you guys are saying that a large Naso in a 125 tank is all I can put in there?

They are rightly saying that you can't put a large naso in a 125g. The tank isn't big enough. You will have to take it out when it grows I'm afraid.

OK. So I will remove the Blonde Naso and put it in my friends 650 gallons tank.

Can you guys comment on the other fish that I am interested in, considering that the Naso is removed:

Semi-larvatus Butterfly
Larvatus Butterfly
Imperator Angelfish OR Majestic Angelfish
Flame Angel
true perc vs. false perc QTY: ???
Blue Hippo Tang - small / medium QTY: 3

I hear all of you guys about the Large Naso being in a 125g. But previously I have had a naso tang in the same tank along with other fish for a long time without any problems
