I am the petstore that she took it to look at. that lighting system is all beat-up. yes wires have been cut, and placed back in unit to look like it was hook-up to somthing. When i took the refecter off i notice there are no ballasts. that unit takes 4 ballast. over $300.00 just to replace. plus a new fan, rusted refecter,and housing cracked. that thing is junk. the only thing i can think is that someone needed ballasts. (maybe for a metal halide system)? you should had just bought it from me. hahaha, just kidding.
