Talking Anyone else do this?

Ok so as soon as I find out someone is coming over my house I immediately clean the tank Clean the glass, scrape the algae. Hoping someone "notices" and gives a compliment.

Yep, just like your wife shoves the dirty dishes into the dishwasher, bundles the dirty clothes and tosses em into the closet, drags the spread over the unmade bed and smooths out the wrinkles................ LOL

I add that to my list of what to "fix" to make sure our house is "company ready". Actually, the tank comes first, the rest is optional. With a 150 gal tank sitting in the room, everything else pales in comparison to it. People come in, their jaws drop and all I need to do is place a beer in their hand while hubby proudly discusses his "baby". No one notices anything else around the house. LOL

lol...definitely!! Hey...those kudos are an ego booster and we're just so proud of the little guys in the tank we want to show them off.

Whats funnier is usually I'm the one running around the house trying to pick up while I can hear my hubby proudly talking to the company (if unexpected) about MY tanks that he has NOTHING to do with otherwise.
When company comes he acts like their his lmao.
That's ok though he never complains when I bring home new corals or anything so it works out.

and YES I do try to quickly clean the glass.

I think even if our tanks are clean, we still give it a "once over" just to get it looking just right.

Talking

My company always finds the algae and points it out, even when I clean.
