My experience with the external BK was the same - deadly silent. Glad to see these are the same. Surprised it hasn't moved - lots of people are having great luck with the skimmer. Probably just bad timing with the holidays bro. I can't believe someone would lowball you, you'd either want this - or not want it - and why not save over $300 on a new skimmer.
