Emster,

That is ONE SPECTACULAR Favia, love the contrast! Why have these corals not been better appreciated before us?

Kev-

Maybe we should start a club? Not actually a bad idea, since it might lead to frag swaps etc.

What do you think?

Sheol-Thank you very much, it is one of my favorite corals but it is kinda slow growing. I believe it is a christmas favia. It gets low light and still grows. I just noticed the sand on it in the pic, I should have blown it off before taking the pic, my damsel kicks up the sand.

Thanks!!!! Yes it is a Dragon Soul..............when I got it, it was kinda brown w/a bright green mouth. It's about 20" below a 400 Radium on a PFO HQI ballast....

Emster,

Yeah, my Damsel & my Cherub angel sometimes dig & get sand on my low-level corals.
I currently only have two true Favia, but nothing as colorful as those here. I also have a Platygyra sp. & a Goniastrea. Like I said I love Favids!

Kev
Well, that is two of us. Anyone else interested in starting a Favia/Favid club??

Matthew
