Stock my 40 gallon breeder!

Okay, I have been inspired by RoBo2002's thread on his 40 gallon breeder.

You can find it here, http://archive.reefcentral.com/forum...readid=660280.

I took my old breeder out of storage, and begain looking for a good spot for it. Found it, my couch is 36" wide, so the tank will sit at on end of the couch. It will be viewable from 3 sides, the 4th side, which is an end (18") will have an over flow box built into it, (started drilling for it yesterday) the other end will have a return coming into it from the bottom, with lockline with a y at the end ( drilled it yesterday) for the main return/ flow.

I am thinking about T5 lighting. I have a 660 Ice cap laying around I can use.

Not to sure what i want to stock it with. Currently have a 125 reef set up with a lot of zoas, some big clams, a huge Rose bulb anemone, and a few real nice acro colonies.

Fish in it are, Pair of Clarki Clowns, Red Sea Sailfin Tang, Sunrise Dottyback, Arorua Goby, Spotted manderian, and 1 orange stripe cardinal.

Idea I have for the 40 ;

Lagoon tank, with open brains, fungias, elegance coral, and such. For fish, large Frogfish, and maybe a Leaf fish.

Sounds interesting, but maybe a bit boaring as the fish will do nothing.

Another thought was moving the clowns and their Rose into it, as they are quite aggresive and will not allow any more fish into the 125. I would feel kinda bad putting them in such a small tank after being in the 125 for 2 years.

What do you think? I am up for any ideas.

Sump, skimmer, and pump size will be decided after tank inhabitants are decided.

Do you think 4 T5 bulbs would be enough?

I have a 40 gallon breeder and I bought a six bulb Sunlight Tek Light. I thought it was too much light as my leathers would NOT open up all the way. I usually turned off the switch with the two bulbs connected to it. I've sold it now as we are setting up a larger tank but if / when I do it again, I'd go 4 bulbs on a 40 anyday.
