Brown Barred Gobi

We have a pair of brown barred gobi's in our QT. They have appeared to have spawned within a piece of PVC piping we have in the tank as shelter. Do we need to feed them with any special diet? Can we move them and the piping to the main tank after their quarantine period is over?

They should be fine with a reasonable, high-quality diet. I make my own fish food, but frozen Formula 1 is pretty good. I'd also vary the diet. This thread has a lot of ideas:

It starts as a discussion of a coral food, but then broadens to fish food.

I would just ditch the PVC pipe. Items in the quarantine tank are best discarded. They'll spawn many, many times.
