is it possible to light a 48x48x8 tank with just one mh bulb?

if it is, what would be the best way to do it?

the tank is gonna be full of hard coral.

I think you'd really need a light mover to get that kind of spread out of one MH. Or maybe a bulb with a higher than necessary wattage in a lumenarc reflector, raised way up above the tank.

lumenarc would be a good choice using a 400 - 1000 watt halide. they are make for a 4 by 4 area
