Have Semi Emergency looking for help in Natomas

Hey everyone,
To my surprise, my new stand was delivered today. I knew that it was in transit, but they called me at 12:30 and said it would be here at 2pm. I was at work, but luckily I had someone that could sign for it. Unfortunately, the wouldn't bring it in the house. So, my new steel stand is sitting in my driveway in the rain. The rain won't hurt it, but I would like to get it in my house if possible. It is really heavy (like 4-500 lbs). I am just wondering if anyone (strong) is sitting around thinking "gee, wish I could move a really heavy object tonight." The good news is that I can work out some frags for help, or I also have some equipment too. I guess it would take 4-8 people to move it. I do have 2 flat dollie thingies that might help out.

If anyone is interested please let me know. You can reach me @ 916-925-5508. I also have 4 beers and could get more if needed

Thanks everyone. Oh, yeah, I can also offer some vacation coverage if that is appealing to you. Whatever you need I will do my best to make happen!

I was just out removing some of the bracing from the pallet and it is not nearly that heavy. That is what the shippers said but that must have included lots of particle board. I think 3 of us can do it. Thanks everyone.

Great observation Steve!

Well I am sorry that I missed this post tonight. We almost need local area fan out lists for emergences! I am glad you were able to get it inside tonight.

Hey Herman! I moved a couple of weeks ago. The 240 is still in Davis and I will move the contents as soon as I get this one set up. You will have to come by when you are in the area.

Kim,
Anytime my dear...It was great meeting you and the kitties. That stand is awesome and after already seeing your tank at CRS, I can't wait to see the final setup!

Guys, guys, guys I have another task that needs some muscular power so you haven't missed out yet!! I need to pick up my tank and get it in the house. I am sure I can get the tank home, but I know I can't bring it in alone. I am hoping to get it either tomorrow night, Friday night or Saturday so I can get started on hooking everything up. Anyone up to a little more lifting? I brought about 25 more corals to my new house tonight, so there are more frags to choose from! Plus, I accidentally made about 8 pink jade frags from tiny to not as tiny.
