OT: XBox 360 For Sale

It is the 360 premium, so it comes with the headset, 20gb hard drive, 1 controller, etc. I've got the box and everything. Comes with Madden 08 and Fight Night 3. Asking $250. PM if interested. I live in Boca, work in Deerfield, and may be willing to meet up in Lauderdale...

Nothing wrong with it. I don't play it. Wife bought a Wii and that's one too many systems for the house.

lol. good luck on the sale Lee. If it doesn't sell, maybe you would want some corals for it And wii games! I've got a few wii games that I don't play. Many bargaining tokens to be had, let me know if cash falls through, because usually cash takes priority.

Titus, let me know when you would be ready to buy. I am not in a super hurry, but would like to get it out of my house sooner rather than later.

Eric, I will keep you in mind. We do enjoy a spirited wii game once in a while at our house. BTW, the tree is doing well. The digitata had polyp extension the first two days and has not really had much since. Actually, I've seen one of the tips starting to recede, so I'm a little upset about that. As we talked about, this was a test piece. I have new bulbs being shipped. I have a feeling that the one's I got with the tank are really old. Will let you know how that goes. Until then, am holding off on hard corals...

Husky, thanks for the offer, but not really interested in the latest iPod offering. I only use mine for jogging...

How about some corals, some cheato, and some $$ for it?

How old is it? The only thing I fear is the red ring of death. If you still have the warrenty I will take it.

Matthew, I have never seen the red ring on this box. What would be needed for the warranty? I believe I purchased in the early part of this year (March/April/May timeframe). I'll see if I can dig up the receipt when I get home. I may be interested in some soft corals. Can't take any hard corals until I get my lighting situated.

I think MSFT is extending all 360 warranties to 2 years from purchase, due to the red ring of death issues.

Nice deal for someone, if I hadn't bought my 360 last month, I'd be all over it.

It was a VERY common issue with most of the initial release 360s. I think that the numbers were around the 30% or more range of all xboxes made. If there was a problem with his, I'm sure it would have surfaced right after purchase, as that's when it hits, but since he hasn't had a problem, and Microsoft has extended all warranties on any xboxes, I believe almost unconditionally, against red ring of death, then you're good to go.

Oh for the record, red ring of death is when the ring around the power button flashes red, indicating a system problem, in which it has to be sent back to M$ to be fixed.

Erik,
My buddy had his Xbox for about 8 months before he had the RRoD. And believe it or not, that was a replacement for his original one that had another issue. But like you said, they are really good about replacing them.
