DIY 240 Cube
I want to build a 4'x4'x24" cube for my next tank. I feel confindent that I could get the seams good using Weld-on 4 and then a bead of 16 in all the seams, but how thick of acrylic do you think I need to use. I plan on using a solid top with 4 18"x18" cut outs in it. Any advice or recommendations with be appreciated.

With a solid top (euro-bracing ~3/8-1/2"thick) like you described I wouldn't hesitate to use 3/4" for the sides- just make sure your seems are well done.

The tank itself wasn't a DIY everything else was. Lots of pics for reference.
