I actually took this picture for aquatic bliss. I had called it forest fire, because it resembled a piece called the same thing in someones blog. That was actually before the reverse sunset started coming out. I've seen some of the similar ones, but the coralites on the others seem to be sunken in like that of the sunset. This particular piece does not.

It was very similiar to the piece on slojm's site. That is where the forest fire name came from. And unlike the fragfarmer piece this is a true Danae.

Got a frag of this from AB this past weekend. This is supposedly one of the last piece that they're fragging out at the moment; they're growing it out again I believe.

That looks a lot like the one on my site...my piece is suffering a brown out...I keep having difficulties with my montis and some base recession on acros. Maybe alk issues and I was forced to change salt brands once again. That is probably the real culprit combined with some alk ups and downs. The polyps are so frickin deep red ont he Forest Fire, completely awesome. I have the "reverse sunset" from Reefready and the Forest Fire is way more colorful and completely different than Matt's. If I have it right Eric got his piece from the same original source that I did. It was round about to me but I think Eric got it direct. It is definately worth it. I believe it is a true danae as only my true danaes seem to be having difficulty in the tank, the undata and sunset are unscathed while the Superman, Forest Fire and Orenji are all a bit under the weather. They will come back .

Nice picture Eric. When are you going to swing by and take some shots of my tank?

Nice pics Eric and Lam!

I just obtained the original Canadian version, too. I quickly lost the green color of the base Right now, it looks more like the Fire Engine monti.

I hope the Christmas colors come back before the holidays

Yeah, I have a reverse sunset from Rommel and it looks more like a fire engine monti at the moment as well. I hope it keeps this nice coloration.

I can stop by whenever Lam. Let me know when you're available via PM.

It's the same as slojmn's Forest Fire. The one that jenz posted in this thread, click here , which was removed for RC rule violations.

tamarindthai, that is the nicest Tyree Fire Engine I have seen thus far...your colors are awesome. I have that one as well but I keep it kind of low, I can't get the polyps to go that red or the green to go that green...it is more lemon-line color with light red polyps.

Karl, I know what you mean, as soon as it gets stressed that beautiful green goes pea green brown...not pretty but the polyps have kept the intense red for me despite its overall unhappiness. With the luck you have with danaes it should be awesome by the Chrismas holiday .

monkeydude, where did you get yours?? it looks a little different but the polyps have that nice deep red...maybe it is stressed like some of the rest of ours.

Aquatic Bliss is cutting one more frag and according to them their piece came from an indo shipment as a hitch hiker.

Eric, you got a great piece.

When I bought my piece, they told me that it will be the last piece cut. I wanted to buy another piece for a friend and that was what I was told.
