painting pvc

has anybody painted their pvc plumbing pipes? Mine will be visible so I was wondering if I could spray them black. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Man, we really need to make a sticky in this forum for "Painting PVC"

Scuff it with some fine sandpaper(220 or so) and spray it with Krylon Fusion. It can be found at wal mart in many different colors.
