Anyone have any ideas on what would be an optimal LR set-up to maximize flow through the structure and limit settling detritus. I have a 120 gal and right now have 2 seperate stack of LR with a bridge in between. I was thinking of placing a circle of smaller rocks on the bottom and then building a large platform on those so the base is elevated from the sand slightly. I would then build a normal pile up from there. I was also thinking of pushing all my sand to the front and side of the tank and keeping a clear area behind my piles and attempt to create a dead spotof current for the detritus and waste to fall into and be siphoned later. Any ideas or photos would be great.
