Iv been looking 4 this fish 4 over a year since my last one went surfing so price wasn't that bad.
A gift 4 myself as it will arrive on my bday.I missed the last one I saw but the one I had I got 4 around 250 if I remember correctlly.he will be the only fairy in my tank (unless I get greedy and get a rhomboid).

My female roseafacia isn't aggressive. But I have heard they can be one of the more aggressive.

It is hard to beat a supermale flame wrasse. I just don't have much luck with them.

Your recollection of pricing is correct. I bought the previous one from LA at much less than the most recent one.

Sorry, I am not a good aquarium photographer. These little buggers move too fast for me.

The second picture is a male Earle's fairy wrasse. The female is similar but not as intense coloration and considerably smaller.

No, its at the aquarium at the pittsburg zoo, i was under the impression it was illegal to obtain them and only about 3 aquariums in the world had them, otherwise I would have bought one by now. :c). Please correct me if im wrong!

I just couldn't see pectoral fins in that shot. Having been after conniellas for several years, I guess I see them everywhere :-)

yea the clown doesn't like new fish. she chased him right out the top. i was watching the whole time and scooped him up and put him back in the tank.

as far as a cover my tank doesn't have one per say. i know im taking a huge risk but my entire tank top is enclosed by walls. the clown is already better today. no aggression. so we'll see. i dont like tops b/c of the hinderance of light to my corals. i need as much help as possible and putting something between the light and my corals doesn't help.

Here is what I use for my tank. I have a full tanks shots w/one side having the mess on & I do not see any light difference.
I got this idea from a fellow RCer. Easy to make & does not look bad.

Wow, nice wrasse, I regret it every day that i didn't buy it

I'm using the mesh cover also, lost a supermale lineatus once because of a 2 inch gap. I wouldn't take the chance on a $500.00 fish but thats me.

Good luck and more pics please!

Here is a thread showing my mesh/garden netting top. You can buy all the materials needed at Lowes or Home Depot for 20 bucks. It's very easy to build, just a window screen frame, built to the size of the top of your tank and you use the mesh/garden netting as the screen.
