ID please
I have lots of that in my tank. They are about 1/4 inch and mostly on the glass. Any ID for that? are they o.k?

looks like Asterina. I think they're bad but not 100%

I've heard good and bad, but the consensus from what I've read is that they're harmless. I've had lots of them in my tanks and have never noticed any problems with them.

Harmless algae film eaters. Some people hate them for the looks, and they breed like mad under desent conditions.

Thanks. I did more research on the Asterina and it looks that they are Harmless . I like this guys (at least for now)

If you want to get rid of them get a Harlequin shrimp! Be careful cause once the stars are gone you will need to feed the shrimp other stars cause thats all they eat!

If you have corals keep an eye on them, as some will prey on them. I've found them on my zoas before and have evicted the ones I've found.
