For The Record

When I posted my tank for sale I got a lot of responses. And I think the guys name was David or something like that and I had made a partial deal. Meaning I was pretty sure but not to do anything until he heard back from me. I was very clear on that. I also mentioned several times on this forum of my health being bad and things happen. I gave him directions to my house, and still told him not to do anything until we spoke again. I had to go to the Hospital due to some fluid on my spine draining and infection. This is no minor thing to happen. I have had 4 back operations in the past year, major back operations. The member who took it upon him self to drive down from Virgina? I think without hearing from me was not a bright idea. Then after a week or two in the hospital I had no way of getting intouch with anyone on this forum. I do apologize for that part. But as far as him being a victim of getting screwed over that is not true. I was not here, he had been told several times that DO NOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL HE HEARS FROM ME. Yes I did see a lot of phone calls on the caller I.D. where he had called, but I was not here to help him nor had he heard back from me on the final decission. I do not want to insult anyones I.Q. here so maybe he forgot? or just decided to come down here anyway. I know I would not drive that far if someone told me not to make a move until they heard back from me. Yes my mandrins did and do mate, so I m not a bold face liar as one guy had put it that I have done business with. What gives them the right to say such things with out getting the facts. Not hear-say, or opinions but the facts are far better. I was also offended that the guy showed up giving my Mother a scare. I am not sure what he told her, Did you tell her you and I had business together? She also said you camped out in the front yard for a while. That also scared her. I am not out to make any buddies on this forum its just business and you can check ebay, and other forums I am involved with and you will see nothing but good feedback. Try thetreasuredepot.com see the digital camera forum. And I do apologize for the mis understanding that happend. I was not avoiding or ducking away from anyone. I hate it happend but a bunch of people gossping about things they do not know about is not called for. Yes I had to go have a minor operation to get fluid drained and it fell right as I was in the middle of making up my mind. I was pretty sure of selling the tank, however I did tell the guy to wait before he did anything and taking things into your own hands and driving that far was not a good idea. If you did not remember me telling you that, even though I did in two or three of our conversations I am sorry you missed it and we had a break down of communication. For that I apologize. But please watch the gossiping, we are not a bunch of old women standing around talking about things that we do not have the facts on. This is clearly one of those situations.

Might want to post this in the seller/buyer feedback forum?

Sounds like a simple misunderstanding to me, although I make it a point to make sure the other party is ready and will be present before I drive anywhere. That is just common courtesy. I would try to work it out with the other guy though, instead of airing it out here.

I moved this to the buyer/seller feedback area from the Reef Discussion area. I would have put it with your sales psot, but I hae no idea which post this refers to. I am also removing the same thread from the Feedback and Questions forum.
