WOW I love my sixline

The other day I was looking in my tank and noticed one of my tangs were stressed and had ich next thing I noticed was the tang swam up to my six line wrasses and was letting him pick of the ich. Has any one else had this happen before.

The best thing I ever did was remove mine. They are very aggressive.

I've seen young sixlines clean other fish before, and when I posted about it here a few other people popped up and said theirs had done the same.

I don't think you'll see the ich problem disappear with the sixline's cleaning though - keep an eye on the tangs, be ready to remove them to a QT if you need to (along with the other fish). Best of luck.

If the fish is healthy it's immune system should kick the ich fairly easy. My powder blue gets a spot or two every couple weeks but they only last a day at the most.

I agree with snorvich on the Sixline. I loved mine until it became agressive. I was happy to see it on the carpet after work one day.

snappedbigfoot my does that sometimes too.

I have one of the biggest and fattest sixline wrasse i have ever seen and he's not aggressive at all. Right now he's about 2.5" to 3" (around there). Had him for about 2 years.
