reef calcium chalk?

i was looking for cheaper methods to add calcium to a reef.

chalk is 100 percent calcium. would this calcium not be the same as the calcium we add?
also tums is 100 percent calcium. wouldnt that work?
also can you buy the cement calcium that they use in cement?

i know this sounds rediculous, but i think it would be interesting to know.

what other calcium products could be used.

Look over in the chemistry forum. Plenty of info. there regarding cost cutting practices that have proven to work.

I'd save the tums for when you're worried about the tank :-)
