Trimming chaeto

When you trip chaeto is it ok to take it out of water complete and get to pruning?

Yes but turn off the light because I have heard about people burning it.

How often are you trimming? I cant keep mine back fast enough.

this is the first time I ever trimmed it and its been a few months since I had it in there but it also doubled in size since. So maybe someone else can give you a better answer I think it really depends on the tank

hehe. I just trimmed mine for the first time 10 minutes ago. I cut off 2/3 of it.
