How do I shrink a pic to make avatar?

I've been playing around with some photo's. Please disregard avatar at this time.

I want to know how to downsize a pic to make it into avatar size. 8192 bytes 150x150 pixels.

thanks

You can use Photoshop to resize it by pixels or bytes if you like.

If you need assistance in doing so, let me know I ll resize the image for you.

But Photoshop 7.0 is what I use to resize images, whether it be digitcal camera pictures to pictures you attain from the web. It will all work the same way.

I happen to have Photoshop 5.0 by some storke of luck. I've never used it, don't have a clue.

I just don't get how everyone seems to be able to put up these great photographic avatars and I can't seem to get it to work because the file is too many bytes???

Usual approach is to go to the lounge and ask someone to resize an avatar pic for you .

They'll even put a Santa hat on it for you.

Upload it to photobucket. They have a avatar re-size tool.
